Young Saints!
We are a Youth Movement in Redding, California that is passionate about His Presence, loves having fun, and is convinced God is up to something in Gen Z. If you are just finding us for the first time we want to say welcome to a community of leaders that realize the brightest days of the church are ahead of us, and young people are a big part of the next Great Awakening to sweep the earth. In a snapshot, we long for Jesus’ manifest Presence on the earth, we make disciples and are disciples, and know that we are better together! We are excited for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you more on this journey of seeing Young people carry Revival and release Reformation across the earth.

Tom Crandall
Young Saints Founder
Tom and his wife Leslie have served together in full-time ministry for over nineteen years, more than ten of which have been at Bethel. Tom has dedicated his life to see a generation encounter God, step into freedom, discover their identity, and send them out as revivalists. He also heads up the evangelistic ministries at Bethel by preaching, equipping, and inspiring the local church and BSSM to reach their world with the message of the Gospel in authenticity and power.
Rory Helart
Young Saints Jr High & High School Pastor
Rory and his wife, Mari have been serving actively in Young Saints since 2010. They have three beautiful daughters: Brooklyn, Harper, and Kinsley. Their heart is to see students walk in relationship with Jesus, know their identity, and learn to love and influence the world around them. Rory has a massive heart to empower students to be supernatural revivalists in every sphere of their world and walk confidently in the gifts and calling God has for them. Rory’s passion is to also raise up powerful youth pastors and leaders who bring freedom and identity through strong beliefs about who God is.
Mari Helart
Young Saints Jr High & High School Pastor, Young Saints Worship Pastor
Mari Helart is the Worship Pastor of Young Saints at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. She also pastors Jr High & High School alongside her husband Rory. She’s been leading worship since 2005, from major conferences to youth group on Wednesday nights. She is a mother to three beautiful little girls named Brooklyn, Harper, and Kinsley. Her heart is to see every young person encounter God in worship and develop a intimate walk with God. Her desire is that every student would walk with Jesus for all of their days - never going back to the former way of living.
Donta Nelson
Young Saints Associate Jr High & High School Pastor
Donta Nelson is the Associate Youth Pastor of Young Saints at Bethel Church, Redding. Donta has been on staff with Bethel since 2016. He graduated from all 3 years of BSSM where he met and married his wife, Chantelle. They have two sons, Zion and Kobe. He and his wife are small business owners and have a heart for walking in wholeness and creativity. Donta is passionate about seeing people live free and courageously in every sphere of life.
